Voyager Skin
Skincare for people who spend their lives outside. Built from a garage, never raised a dollar.
Voyager wound down in March 2025. It is no longer selling products.
What it was
Voyager Skin made skincare for outdoor athletes. I formulated both flagship products myself, including a new emulsion that keeps retinol stable in harsh environments, and grew the line to six products.
How it was built
Manufacturing started in a garage. It grew into a team of three full-time staff and more than ten contractors across supply, production and marketing.

Why it ended
Voyager worked as a product. As a business, it was one brand carrying every cost and every risk alone, with no machine behind it. Right product, wrong structure, wrong time.
In March 2025 I wound it down. It cost money and some pride. Then I built the structure it needed:Allotrope, a studio where formulation, sourcing and manufacturing are built once and shared across many brands, and a brand that misses is closed early on purpose. Voyager's emulsion, manufacturing and supplier relationships carried over. The brand stays here.
